Warning Signs

Garber was driving along a country road when he saw a big sign - BEWARE OP THE DOG.
Farther down the road was another sign - BEWARE OF THE DOG.
Finally he arrived at the farmhouse and there was a Pekingese standing in front of the house.
"Do you mean to say," asked Garber, "that little dog keeps strangers away?"
"No," replied the farmer, "but the signs do."
